TASHKENT, Nov. 15, 2011 (AMP) — Brazil 2014 (Asian Qualifiers) : Uzbekistan defeated Tajikistan by a score of 3-0 (halftime: 1-0), in a qualifying game for the 2014 FIFA World Cup on Tuesday night.
The result put the Uzbek top of Group C with 13 points. Tajikistan is bottom with no points. In their last game, Uzbekistan will meet second-placed Japan on February 29, while Tajikistan will face North Korea.
