ADDIS ABEBA, Jun. 16, 2013 (AMP) — Brazil 2014 (African Qualifiers) : Ethiopia defeated South Africa by a score of 2-1 (halftime: 1-1), in a qualifying game for the 2014 FIFA World Cup on Sunday afternoon.
The result put the Ethiopians top of Group A with 10 points. South Africa is second with 8 points. In their last game, Ethiopia will meet the Central African Republic on September 7, while South Africa will face Botswana.
