BAKAU, Jun. 8, 2013 (AMP) — Brazil 2014 (African Qualifiers) : Ivory Coast defeated Gambia by a score of 3-0 (halftime: 1-0), in a qualifying game for the 2014 FIFA World Cup on Saturday afternoon.
The result put the Ivorians top of Group C with 10 points. Gambia is bottom with one point. In their next game, Ivory Coast will meet second-placed Tanzania on June 16, while Gambia will face Morocco.
