HARARE, Jun. 9, 2013 (AMP) — Brazil 2014 (African Qualifiers) : Egypt defeated Zimbabwe by a score of 4-2 (halftime: 2-1), in a qualifying game for the 2014 FIFA World Cup on Sunday afternoon.
The result put the Egyptians top of Group G with 12 points. Zimbabwe is bottom with one point. In their next game, Egypt will meet third-placed Mozambique on June 16, while Zimbabwe will face Guinea.
