MEXICO CITY, Sep. 6, 2013 (AMP) — Brazil 2014 (American Qualifiers) : Honduras defeated Mexico by a score of 2-1 (halftime: 0-1), in a qualifying game for the 2014 FIFA World Cup (Fourth Round) on Friday night.
The result put the Hondurans third in the group with 10 points. Mexico is fourth with 8 points. In their next game, Honduras will meet Panama on September 10, while Mexico will face the United States.
