PARAMARIBO, Sep. 2, 2011 (AMP) — Brazil 2014 (American Qualifiers) : Suriname defeated the Cayman Islands by a score of 1-0 (halftime: 1-0), in a qualifying game for the 2014 FIFA World Cup on Friday night.
The result put the Surinamese top of Group A with 3 points. In their next game, Suriname will meet the Dominican Republic on September 6, while the Cayman Islands will face El Salvador.
