SAN CRISTOBAL, Sep. 6, 2011 (AMP) — Brazil 2014 (American Qualifiers) : The Dominican Republic tied 1-1 with Suriname (halftime: 0-1), in a qualifying game for the 2014 FIFA World Cup on Tuesday afternoon.
The result put the Surinamese top of Group A with 4 points. The Dominican Republic is third with one point. In their next game, Suriname will meet the Cayman Islands on October 7, while the Dominican Republic will face El Salvador.
