PARAMARIBO, Nov. 11, 2011 (AMP) — Brazil 2014 (American Qualifiers) : El Salvador defeated Suriname by a score of 3-1 (halftime: 1-0), in a qualifying game for the 2014 FIFA World Cup on Friday night.
The result put the Salvadorans top of Group A with 15 points. Suriname is third with 7 points. In their last game, El Salvador will meet third-placed Suriname on November 15, while Suriname will face El Salvador.
