BRIDGETOWN, Oct. 7, 2011 (AMP) — Brazil 2014 (American Qualifiers) : Guyana defeated Barbados by a score of 2-0 (halftime: 0-0), in a qualifying game for the 2014 FIFA World Cup on Friday afternoon.
The result put the Guyanese top of Group B with 9 points. Barbados is bottom with no points. In their next game, Guyana will meet third-placed Bermuda on October 11, while Barbados will face Trinidad and Tobago.
