ST. JOHN'S, Oct. 12, 2012 (AMP) — Brazil 2014 (American Qualifiers) : The United States defeated Antigua and Barbuda by a score of 2-1 (halftime: 1-1), in a qualifying game for the 2014 FIFA World Cup on Friday night.
The result put the Americans top of Group A with 10 points. Antigua and Barbuda is bottom with one point. In their last game, the United States will meet second-placed Guatemala on October 16, while Antigua and Barbuda will face Jamaica.
