GEORGETOWN, Jun. 12, 2012 (AMP) — Brazil 2014 (American Qualifiers) : Costa Rica defeated Guyana by a big score of 4-0 (halftime: 2-0), in a qualifying game for the 2014 FIFA World Cup on Tuesday night.
The result put the Costa Ricans second in Group B with 4 points. Guyana is bottom with no points. In their next game, Costa Rica will meet group leaders Mexico on September 7, while Guyana will face El Salvador.
