GEORGETOWN, Sep. 11, 2012 (AMP) — Brazil 2014 (American Qualifiers) : El Salvador defeated Guyana by a score of 3-2 (halftime: 1-1), in a qualifying game for the 2014 FIFA World Cup on Tuesday night.
The result put the Salvadorans second in Group B with 5 points. Guyana is bottom with one point. In their next game, El Salvador will meet third-placed Costa Rica on October 12, while Guyana will face Mexico.
