PUERTO LA CRUZ, Jun. 9, 2012 (AMP) — Brazil 2014 (South American Qualifiers) : Chile defeated Venezuela by a score of 2-0 (halftime: 0-0), in a qualifying game for the 2014 FIFA World Cup (Qualifying Tournament) on Saturday night.
The result put the Chilians top of the group with 12 points. Venezuela is fourth with 8 points. In their next game, Chile will meet Colombia on September 11, while Venezuela will face Peru.
