ASUNCIóN, Sep. 11, 2012 (AMP) — Brazil 2014 (South American Qualifiers) : Venezuela defeated Paraguay by a score of 2-0 (halftime: 1-0), in a qualifying game for the 2014 FIFA World Cup (Qualifying Tournament) on Tuesday night.
The result put the Venezuelans 6th in the group with 11 points. Paraguay is bottom with 4 points. In their next game, Venezuela will meet third-placed Ecuador on October 16, while Paraguay will face Colombia.
