MONTEVIDEO, Sep. 11, 2012 (AMP) — Brazil 2014 (South American Qualifiers) : Uruguay tied 1-1 with Ecuador (halftime: 0-1), in a qualifying game for the 2014 FIFA World Cup (Qualifying Tournament) on Tuesday night.
The result put the Ecuadorians third in the group with 13 points. Uruguay is fourth with 12 points. In their next game, Ecuador will meet Chile on October 12, while Uruguay will face Argentina.
