MENDOZA, Oct. 12, 2012 (AMP) — Brazil 2014 (South American Qualifiers) : Argentina defeated Uruguay by a score of 3-0 (halftime: 0-0), in a qualifying game for the 2014 FIFA World Cup (Qualifying Tournament) on Friday night.
The result put the Argentine top of the group with 17 points. Uruguay is fourth with 12 points. In their next game, Argentina will meet Chile on October 16, while Uruguay will face Bolivia.
