SANTIAGO DE CHILE, Oct. 16, 2012 (AMP) — Brazil 2014 (South American Qualifiers) : Argentina defeated Chile by a score of 2-1 (halftime: 2-0), in a qualifying game for the 2014 FIFA World Cup (Qualifying Tournament) on Tuesday night.
The result put the Argentine top of the group with 20 points. Chile is 6th with 12 points. In their next game, Argentina will meet Venezuela on March 22, while Chile will face Peru.
