QUITO, Mar. 26, 2013 (AMP) — Brazil 2014 (South American Qualifiers) : Ecuador defeated Paraguay by a score of 4-1 (halftime: 1-1), in a qualifying game for the 2014 FIFA World Cup (Qualifying Tournament) on Tuesday afternoon.
The result put the Ecuadorians second in the group with 20 points. Paraguay is bottom with 8 points. In their next game, Ecuador will meet Peru on June 7, while Paraguay will face Chile.
