SANTIAGO DE CHILE, Sep. 6, 2013 (AMP) — Brazil 2014 (South American Qualifiers) : Chile defeated Venezuela by a score of 3-0 (halftime: 2-0), in a qualifying game for the 2014 FIFA World Cup (Qualifying Tournament) on Friday night.
The result put the Chilians third in the group with 24 points. Venezuela is 6th with 16 points. In their next game, Chile will meet second-placed Colombia on October 11, while Venezuela will face Peru.
