BARRANQUILLA, Sep. 6, 2013 (AMP) — Brazil 2014 (South American Qualifiers) : Colombia defeated Ecuador by a score of 1-0 (halftime: 1-0), in a qualifying game for the 2014 FIFA World Cup (Qualifying Tournament) on Friday afternoon.
The result put the Colombians second in the group with 26 points. Ecuador is third with 21 points. In their next game, Colombia will meet Uruguay on September 10, while Ecuador will face Bolivia.
