MONTEVIDEO, Sep. 10, 2013 (AMP) — Brazil 2014 (South American Qualifiers) : Uruguay defeated Colombia by a score of 2-0 (halftime: 0-0), in a qualifying game for the 2014 FIFA World Cup (Qualifying Tournament) on Tuesday night.
The result put the Colombians second in the group with 26 points. Uruguay is 5th with 22 points. In their next game, Colombia will meet third-placed Chile on October 11, while Uruguay will face Ecuador.
