PUERTO LA CRUZ, Sep. 10, 2013 (AMP) — Brazil 2014 (South American Qualifiers) : Venezuela defeated Peru by a score of 3-2 (halftime: 1-1), in a qualifying game for the 2014 FIFA World Cup (Qualifying Tournament) on Tuesday night.
The result put the Venezuelans 6th in the group with 19 points. Peru is 7th with 14 points. In their last game, Venezuela will meet Paraguay on October 11, while Peru will face Argentina.
