NOUMEA, Sep. 7, 2012 (AMP) — Brazil 2014 (Oceania Qualifiers) : New Zealand defeated New Caledonia by a score of 2-0 (halftime: 1-0), in a qualifying game for the 2014 FIFA World Cup (Third Round) on Friday night.
The result put the New Zealander top of the group with 3 points. In their next game, New Zealand will meet group leaders the Solomon Islands on September 11, while New Caledonia will face Tahiti.
