HONIARA, Sep. 7, 2012 (AMP) — Brazil 2014 (Oceania Qualifiers) : The Solomon Islands defeated Tahiti by a score of 2-0 (halftime: 1-0), in a qualifying game for the 2014 FIFA World Cup (Third Round) on Friday afternoon.
The result put the Solomon Islander top of the group with 3 points. In their next game, the Solomon Islands will meet New Zealand on September 11, while Tahiti will face New Caledonia.
