CHRISTCHURCH, Oct. 16, 2012 (AMP) — Brazil 2014 (Oceania Qualifiers) : New Zealand defeated Tahiti by a score of 3-0 (halftime: 1-0), in a qualifying game for the 2014 FIFA World Cup (Third Round) on Tuesday night.
The result put the New Zealander top of the group with 12 points. Tahiti is bottom with no points. In their next game, New Zealand will meet second-placed New Caledonia on March 22, while Tahiti will face the Solomon Islands.
