SOLNA, Jun. 11, 2013 (AMP) — Brazil 2014 (European Qualifiers) : Sweden defeated the Faroe islands by a score of 2-0 (halftime: 1-0), in a qualifying game for the 2014 FIFA World Cup on Tuesday night.
The result put the Swedish third in Group C with 11 points. The Faroe islands is bottom with no points. In their next game, Sweden will meet Ireland on September 6, while the Faroe islands will face Kazakhstan.
