COLOGNE, Oct. 11, 2013 (AMP) — Brazil 2014 (European Qualifiers) : Germany defeated Ireland by a score of 3-0 (halftime: 1-0), in a qualifying game for the 2014 FIFA World Cup on Friday night.
The result put the Germans top of Group C with 25 points. Ireland is fourth with 11 points. In their last game, Germany will meet second-placed Sweden on October 15, while Ireland will face Kazakhstan.
