REYKJAVíK, Oct. 16, 2012 (AMP) — Brazil 2014 (European Qualifiers) : Switzerland defeated Iceland by a score of 2-0 (halftime: 0-0), in a qualifying game for the 2014 FIFA World Cup on Tuesday night.
The result put the Swiss top of Group E with 10 points. Iceland is second with 6 points. In their next game, Switzerland will meet Cyprus on March 23, while Iceland will face Slovenia.
