NICOSIA, Sep. 10, 2013 (AMP) — Brazil 2014 (European Qualifiers) : Slovenia defeated Cyprus by a score of 2-0 (halftime: 1-0), in a qualifying game for the 2014 FIFA World Cup on Tuesday night.
The result put the Slovenians third in Group E with 12 points. Cyprus is bottom with 4 points. In their next game, Slovenia will meet Norway on October 11, while Cyprus will face Iceland.
