REYKJAVíK, Sep. 10, 2013 (AMP) — Brazil 2014 (European Qualifiers) : Iceland defeated Albania by a score of 2-1 (halftime: 1-1), in a qualifying game for the 2014 FIFA World Cup on Tuesday night.
The result put the Icelander second in Group E with 13 points. Albania is fourth with 10 points. In their next game, Iceland will meet Cyprus on October 11, while Albania will face Switzerland.
