TIRANA, Oct. 11, 2013 (AMP) — Brazil 2014 (European Qualifiers) : Switzerland defeated Albania by a score of 2-1 (halftime: 0-0), in a qualifying game for the 2014 FIFA World Cup on Friday night.
The result put the Swiss top of Group E with 21 points. Albania is 5th with 10 points. In their last game, Switzerland will meet third-placed Slovenia on October 15, while Albania will face Cyprus.
