REYKJAVíK, Oct. 11, 2013 (AMP) — Brazil 2014 (European Qualifiers) : Iceland defeated Cyprus by a score of 2-0 (halftime: 0-0), in a qualifying game for the 2014 FIFA World Cup on Friday night.
The result put the Icelander second in Group E with 16 points. Cyprus is bottom with 4 points. In their last game, Iceland will meet Norway on October 15, while Cyprus will face Albania.
