TEL AVIV, Oct. 16, 2012 (AMP) — Brazil 2014 (European Qualifiers) : Israel defeated Luxembourg by a score of 3-0 (halftime: 2-0), in a qualifying game for the 2014 FIFA World Cup on Tuesday night.
The result put the Israelians second in Group F with 7 points. Luxembourg is bottom with one point. In their next game, Israel will meet third-placed Portugal on March 22, while Luxembourg will face Azerbaijan.
