VADUZ, Oct. 12, 2012 (AMP) — Brazil 2014 (European Qualifiers) : Lithuania defeated Liechtenstein by a score of 2-0 (halftime: 0-0), in a qualifying game for the 2014 FIFA World Cup on Friday night.
The result put the Lithuanians fourth in Group G with 4 points. Liechtenstein is bottom with no points. In their next game, Lithuania will meet group leaders Bosnia and Herzegovina on October 16, while Liechtenstein will face Latvia.
