MARIJAMPOLE, Sep. 10, 2013 (AMP) — Brazil 2014 (European Qualifiers) : Lithuania defeated Liechtenstein by a score of 2-0 (halftime: 2-0), in a qualifying game for the 2014 FIFA World Cup on Tuesday night.
The result put the Lithuanians fourth in Group G with 8 points. Liechtenstein is bottom with 2 points. In their next game, Lithuania will meet Latvia on October 11, while Liechtenstein will face Bosnia and Herzegovina.
