VILNIUS, Oct. 11, 2013 (AMP) — Brazil 2014 (European Qualifiers) : Lithuania defeated Latvia by a score of 2-0 (halftime: 1-0), in a qualifying game for the 2014 FIFA World Cup on Friday night.
The result put the Lithuanians fourth in Group G with 11 points. Latvia is 5th with 7 points. In their last game, Lithuania will meet group leaders Bosnia and Herzegovina on October 15, while Latvia will face Slovakia.
