SAMARA, Jul. 2, 2018 (AMP) — Russia 2018 : Brazil qualified to the quarter-finals of the 2018 FIFA World Cup with a 2-0 win against Mexico (halftime: 0-0) on Monday night at the Cosmos Arena in Samara.
Mexico made the Brazilians doubt themselves for forty-five minutes. 0-0 at half time. Everything was settled in the second period with goals by Neymar ('51) and Firmino ('88).
