Belgium beats Brazil to advance to World Cup semifinals
KAZAN, Jul. 6, 2018 (AMP) — Russia 2018 : Belgium reached the semifinals of the 2018 FIFA World Cup with a 2-1 win against Brazil (halftime: 2-0) on Friday night at the Kazan Arena.
Belgium dominated the first half thanks to goals from Fernandinho ('13 own) and Kevin De Bruyne ('31). Leading 2-0 at the break, the Belgians further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by in the th minute.
