World Cup 2018 Qualifiers : Niger beats Somalia 2-0

ADDIS ABABA, Oct. 9, 2015 (AMP) — Russia 2018 (African Qualifiers) : Niger defeated Somalia by a score of 2-0 (halftime: 0-0), in the first leg of a World Cup qualifier tie on Friday afternoon at the Addis Ababa Stadium.

Maâzou scored dual goals

Somalia made the Nigeriens doubt themselves for forty-five minutes. 0-0 at half time. Everything was decided in the second period with two goals by Maâzou at '58 and '62 (on penalty).

The second leg between Somalia and Niger will be played on Tuesday October 13, 2015 (kick-off: 16:00) in Niamey.
