World Cup 2018 Qualifiers : Madagascar beats Central African Republic 3-0
ANTANANARIVO, Oct. 10, 2015 (AMP) — Russia 2018 (African Qualifiers) : Madagascar defeated the Central African Republic by a score of 3-0 (halftime: 2-0), in the first leg of a World Cup qualifier tie on Saturday afternoon at the Mahamasina Municipal Stadium in Antananarivo.
Madagascar dominated the first half thanks to goals from Rabeson ('27) and Rakotoharimalala ('39). Leading 2-0 at the break, the Malagasys further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Paul in the 65th minute.
The second leg between the Central African Republic and Madagascar will be played on Tuesday October 13, 2015 (kick-off: 14:30) in Antananarivo.
