World Cup 2018 Qualifiers : Botswana beats Eritrea 2-0

ASMARA, Oct. 10, 2015 (AMP) — Russia 2018 (African Qualifiers) : Botswana defeated Eritrea by a score of 2-0 (halftime: 1-0), in the first leg of a World Cup qualifier tie on Saturday afternoon at the Cicero Stadium in Asmara.

Botswana dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Moyana in the 22nd minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the Batswanas further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Mogorosi in the 64th minute.

The second leg between Eritrea and Botswana will be played on Tuesday October 13, 2015 (kick-off: 20:00) in Francistown.
