World Cup 2018 Qualifiers : Ethiopia beats São Tomé and Príncipe 3-0 to qualify for next round
ADDIS ABABA, Oct. 11, 2015 (AMP) — Russia 2018 (African Qualifiers) : Ethiopia defeated São Tomé and Príncipe by a score of 3-0 (halftime: 1-0), in the second leg of a qualifying game on Sunday afternoon at the Addis Ababa Stadium.
Ethiopia dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Fekadu in the 1st minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the Ethiopians further widened their lead in the second period by scoring twice (Panom '48/penalty and Lok '75).
Ethiopia, who lost the first leg (0-1), advance to the second round of the ongoing CAF World Cup qualifying campaign. São Tomé and Príncipe is eliminated.Fixtures and Results : First Round
