BLANTYRE, Oct. 11, 2015 (AMP) — Russia 2018 (African Qualifiers) : Malawi defeated Tanzania by a score of 1-0 (halftime: 1-0), in the second leg of a qualifying game on Sunday afternoon at the Kamuzu Stadium in Blantyre.

All the action happened in the first half, with Banda goal in the 43rd minute.

Tanzania, who won the first leg (2-0), advance to the second round of the ongoing CAF World Cup qualifying campaign. Malawi is eliminated.
