World Cup 2018 Qualifiers : Botswana beats Eritrea 3-1 to qualify for next round
FRANCISTOWN, Oct. 13, 2015 (AMP) — Russia 2018 (African Qualifiers) : Botswana defeated Eritrea by a score of 3-1 (halftime: 2-1), in the second leg of a qualifying game on Tuesday night at the Francistown Stadium.
Ngele scored dual goals
Eritrea opened the score in the score in the 9th minute thanks to Goitom, before Botswana regained the advantage with Ngele ('15) and Mogorosi ('21). Leading 2-1 at the break, the Batswanas further widened their lead in the second period with another goal by Ngele in the 79th minute.
Botswana, who won the first leg (2-0), advance to the second round of the ongoing CAF World Cup qualifying campaign. Eritrea is eliminated.Fixtures and Results : First Round
