World Cup 2018 Qualifiers : Comoros held to a 1-1 draw by Lesotho but qualifies for next round
MASERU, Oct. 13, 2015 (AMP) — Russia 2018 (African Qualifiers) : Lesotho tied 1-1 with Comoros (halftime: 1-0), in the second leg of a qualifying game on Tuesday night at the Setsoto Stadium in Maseru.
The Basothos started off well by taking the lead thanks to Seturumane in the 17th minute. However, even though they were leading 1-0 at half time, they could not prevent a comeback by Comoros with a saving goal from M'Changama in the 71st minute.
Comoros, who tied 0-0 in the first leg, advance to the second round of the ongoing CAF World Cup qualifying campaign. Lesotho is eliminated.Fixtures and Results : First Round
