World Cup 2018 Qualifiers : Namibia beats Gambia 2-1 to qualify for next round
WINDHOEK, Oct. 13, 2015 (AMP) — Russia 2018 (African Qualifiers) : Namibia defeated Gambia by a score of 2-1 (halftime: 1-1), in the second leg of a qualifying game on Tuesday afternoon at the Sam Nujoma Stadium in Windhoek.
Dibba opened the score in the 10th minute, before seeing Namibia catch up in the 42nd minute thanks to Stephanus. 1-1 at half time. The Namibians eventually won the game in the second period with with a goal by Somaeb in the 63rd minute.
Namibia, who tied 1-1 in the first leg, advance to the second round of the ongoing CAF World Cup qualifying campaign. Gambia is eliminated.Fixtures and Results : First Round
