World Cup 2018 Qualifiers : Niger beats Somalia 4-0 to qualify for next round
NIAMEY, Oct. 13, 2015 (AMP) — Russia 2018 (African Qualifiers) : Niger defeated Somalia by a big score of 4-0 (halftime: 3-0), in the second leg of a qualifying game on Tuesday afternoon at the General Seyni Kountché Stadium in Niamey.
Cissé and Maâzou scored dual goals
Niger dominated the first half thanks to goals from Cissé ('13) and Maâzou ('18, '32). Leading 3-0 at the break, the Nigeriens further widened their lead in the second period with another goal by Cissé in the 68th minute.
Niger, who won the first leg (2-0), advance to the second round of the ongoing CAF World Cup qualifying campaign. Somalia is eliminated.Fixtures and Results : First Round
