World Cup 2018 Qualifiers : Chad loses to Sierra Leone 2-1 but qualifies for next round
PORT HARCOURT, Oct. 13, 2015 (AMP) — Russia 2018 (African Qualifiers) : Sierra Leone defeated Chad by a score of 2-1 (halftime: 0-1), in the second leg of a qualifying game on Tuesday afternoon at the Adokiye Amiesimaka Stadium in Port Harcourt.
Chad had started off well by taking the lead in the 45th minute with a goal by Djimrangar. Trailing 1-0 at half time, the Sierra Leoneans nonetheless manage to reverse the direction of the game by scoring twice in the second period (Kamara '70 and Sesay '79).
Chad, who won the first leg (1-0), advance to the second round of the ongoing CAF World Cup qualifying campaign. Sierra Leone is eliminated.Fixtures and Results : First Round
