World Cup 2018 Qualifiers : DR Congo beats Burundi 3-2
BUJUMBURA, Nov. 12, 2015 (AMP) — Russia 2018 (African Qualifiers) : DR Congo defeated Burundi by a score of 3-2 (halftime: 1-1), in the first leg of a World Cup qualifier tie on Thursday afternoon at the Prince Louis Rwagasore Stadium in Bujumbura.
Mubele scored dual goals
Bolasie opened the score in the 5th minute, before seeing Burundi catch up in the 38th minute thanks to Amissi. 1-1 at half time. The congoleses eventually won the game in the second period with two more goals by Mubele ('86, '88).
The second leg between Burundi and DR Congo will be played on Sunday November 15, 2015 (kick-off: 15:30) in Kinshasa.
