MONROVIA, Nov. 13, 2015 (AMP) — Russia 2018 (African Qualifiers) : Ivory Coast defeated Liberia by a score of 1-0 (halftime: 1-0), in the first leg of a World Cup qualifier tie on Friday afternoon at the Antoinette Tubman Stadium in Monrovia.
All the action happened in the first half, with Cyriac goal in the 44th minute.
The second leg between Liberia and Ivory Coast will be played on Tuesday November 17, 2015 (kick-off: 17:00) in Abidjan.
